Whether CASTLE or CAGE
In our circles
it is all the rage
Many yearn to open that page
Then despair of ever closing it
It’s paradise
Until you taste its ware
It is a snare
When you find your feet mired in disillusion
You yearn to jump out like hell
Yet the more elusive your expectations
The more you urgently urge those on the outside to join you in there
And when you find heaven on earth
It is the mark of sagacity to say
Before ‘you do’
Don’t rush to leap
It doesn’t need to glitter before you know it’s gold!
But sometimes… sometimes it glitters
Yet you’d find it’s only tinsel!
But who is to tell?
Whether castle or cage,
In our circles,
It is all the rage.
