Elsewhere the children are bold
They are creative and innovative
They don’t care about witches and goblins
And ghosts and myths of old
They need no amulets and talismans and charms
No prophecies and special protection
Or spiritual direction
To make it happen and live their dreams
No, they only focus and go for the gold
But elsewhere demons and witches and primitive gods hold sway
They obstruct your progress every day
Unless you acknowledge their eminence
Your investments yield no dividends
Meanwhile, elsewhere reason rules supreme
It views everything from a point of understanding
Subjects everything to empiricism
And illumines all things with the light of truth
But elsewhere the evil forest is full of mysteries
Many things are bound in mystification and taboo
What has been laid down
By ancestors and the wisdom of old
And by those who say they see into the world of the spirit
That defines life in the fold
